TriStar Driver Portal Privacy Policy

Thank you for using TriStar Driver Portal ("the app")! This Privacy Policy elucidates how we gather, employ, and secure your data when you utilize our mobile application.   1. Information Collected

    The StarTracker Driver Portal does not gather any personal information other than your name and current location when using the “Load Tracking” function. When you access or use the App, we may collect certain non-personal information automatically. This information may include your device type, operating system, Company or Load Broker name A driver may also voluntarily use this app to upload their Driver Qualifications (“DQ”) documents.

  2. How Information is Used

    The location collected during “Load Tracking” is used to inform the customer where their shipment is and when it is expected to arrived at its destination. The driver name, and company name collected during “Driver Queues” “Sign-In” function is used by TS dispatches to assign loads and queue driver for loading and unloading in Houston warehouse. Drop, Pick-up, and move data is only stored for container inventory and linked to your profile in the event TS needs to know who committed the stated action. Driver Qualifications documents are only stored to the extent necessary to satisfy state and federal law.

  3. Data Security

    We do not share any personal data with any outside party. The only information that is shared with any outside party is location paired with their shipment information. No driver information is shared with the customer. Your Driver Qualification documents are shared only with the government agencies that require them for compliance.

  4. Security Measures

    We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. . You must login to view your own information. The information collected is not accessible by the general public nor any other driver. Information and documents are only accessible to those employees that have the security roles and authorization necessary to keep you and TS in compliance.

  5. User Rights

    When you login you are able to see the data we have collected from you. You can delete your Driver Queue entries by signing out. TS does not keep your DQ documents longer than necessary and you may request that said documents be purged from TS’s system in the event that you are no longer employed or contracted by TS, by submitting a written request to the TS Safety Department. You may also that any Container/Chassis Drop, Pick-up, or Move records be disassociated from your profile be submitting a written request to the Software development department

  6. Policy Changes

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
